This week I have been nominated by talented Illustrator Ruby Wave (aka Paula McGloin) to join the Blind Elephant Illustration Collective.
This is a group of extremely talented artists from various backgrounds who have come together to create unique illustrations to share with other artists and like-minded people. Every month a brief is set and each member will publish their creation on the Blind Elephant Illustration Collective blog for public viewing. At the end of the year an exhibition is held to showcase the work being Illustrated by each Blind Elephant member.
Currently there is an exhibition on in the The Bernard Shaw pub until February 26th, so if you haven’t been already it is a must see!!

Vector Graphics created in Illustrator
Little Rosie is an experiment piece of work. The past two months I've been doing a lot of detailed line drawings. I decided I would create a vector graphic design from one of my sketches to add a little variety. Working with shapes is a lot of fun and if the design is not to complex it is less time consuming than detailed drawings. I will definitely continue to do a few more of these designs, maybe I will create some mates for little Rosie!
Snowy Owl is a simple pencil drawing based on a collection of bird photographs taken in Bergamo Italy. My plan is to keep drawing as many birds/animals as I can to build up a nice variety of artwork using a similar style and technique! I hope you enjoy what you see and please feel free to send me your feedback.
I've finally set up a shop with society6 this is a website that allows you to promote and sell your artwork!
At the moment I've put up a random selection of artwork and photography pieces for sale! In the next couple of week I hope to clean up my store and have a interesting variety to select from so keep your eyes peeled ;-)

Lena and Woolies was such a fantastic project to work on. The designer Helena Quearney is extremely talented at hand knitting. Lena has been knitting since she was a young girl and to this day she produces the most amazing, blankets, scarfs, children's clothing, and hats using beautiful warm and vibrant colours. Lena works with every kind of stitch and adds an individual touch to each item!
I recently set up a Flickr account!!! yeahyy I know I'm behind in the times :o)
I thought it would be a nice idea to share my photographs with friends abroad and in Ireland. I’m not a professional photographer but I do love to take pictures. I focus on people, places, nature, birds and animals…
I’ve got an obsession with animals and nature I think it comes from my childhood and growing up around dogs. If I see anything with four legs or a set of wings I spend a long time chasing it around trying to capture a nice photo!! I just feel sorry for the person with me!!
