Scavenger

Griffon Vulture
I decided to work on an art print suitable for male and female! A lot of my prints are quite feminine in colour and subject. So instead of drawing a nice little Robin red breast I drew a vulture and used a dark background to set the mood :-)

Stencil screen printing - Little red fox

Screen printing is something I haven't done since I was in 5th year secondary school, a longgggg time ago....

I remember how much I really loved doing it and always thought about getting back into it. So today I went out and bought a speedball screen printing kit and got cracking.

I worked on a two colour stencil print, which I called Little red fox! I must admit I didn't put much thought or time into the stencil part, which explains why It didn't turn out the greatest!! Even so I did learn a lot and I did remember a couple of tricks. I also remembered cleaning the screen in a right pain in the arse!

I hope the next print I post is an improvement! :o)

Floral Motif - Vector Designs

Floral Motif Design

I was working on this floral motif a few months ago and just finished it recently.
Starting with a pencil sketch, I then scanned the image and reworked them in Illustrator. I chose quite vibrant colours as an experiment. I'll have to test these in print to see how they will look, but for the moment you can purchase a blue toned version from Society6!

Japanese Geisha

This is Illustration I worked on in 2009. I was inspired by watching a lot of Japanese movies and reading books on Japanese art. I'm still quite fond of this piece as it was one of my first Illustration drawings after many years of exploring different fields.

Little Rosie

Vector Graphics created in Illustrator
Little Rosie is an experiment piece of work. The past two months I've been doing a lot of detailed line drawings. I decided I would create a vector graphic design from one of my sketches to add a little variety. Working with shapes is a lot of fun and if the design is not to complex it is less time consuming than detailed drawings. I will definitely continue to do a few more of these designs, maybe I will create some mates for little Rosie!

Snowy Owl

The start of something new!

Snowy Owl is a simple pencil drawing based on a collection of bird photographs taken in Bergamo Italy. My plan is to keep drawing as many birds/animals as I can to build up a nice variety of artwork using a similar style and technique! I hope you enjoy what you see and please feel free to send me your feedback.

Thank you
